Tristan Daniel is a Filipino professional boxer fighting out of Toronto, Canada. He was born and raised in the Island of Mindanao, Philippines and moved to Toronto at a young age. 

Tristan is trained by Carlos Varela and his Son, Jr. He has trained with this duo for almost 10 years. Carlos Varela trained 2 world champions and 1 Hall-of-famer. He trained former WBA super welterweight champion Eddie Gazo and the great three-division world champion Alexis Argüello.
